Silvan Guintoli feels he has started riding Pramac’s Toprak Razgatlioglu Yamaha M1 after seeing his pace at the 2026 United States Grand Prix.

Toprak Razgatlioglu’s pace at COTA compared to Fabio Quatararo impressed Silvan Guintoli.

“It’s a big difference from World Superbikes, with the bike, the input, the way you open the throttle, not to touch the bike and start pulling, but to be gentler on the bike.
“And once you get the traction, the bike burns through the corners. And Toprak seems to be hanging on. I mean, he’s only got eight laps to go and he’s very close to Fabio Quattararo.”
At the time of Guintoli’s comments, Razgatlioglu was 17th fastest in the pre-qualifying session in P15 with Quattararo, Rins in P20 and Miller in P21 of the Yamaha titles. The 29-year-old set a personal best time of 2:02.936 compared to Quatararo’s 2:02.674.
Razgatlioglu learned a lot at the Brazilian Grand Prix following Quatararo. Last week in Goiania, he felt the Yamaha star had a lot going for him in terms of acceleration. However, Razgatlioglu was 0.262s slower than Quatarro in the race simulations held in America.
