Electronics brand Shockknown for its open-back headphones, has released the OpenRun Pro2, its latest offering in bone conduction sports headphones. The product was presented in Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blancthe world’s largest and most respected brand-sponsored trail running event.
Made from ultra-lightweight, high-strength material with a soft silicone coating, the OpenRun Pro2 provides a cloud-like fit for all-day comfort designed to make users forget they’re even wearing headphones.
Featuring Shokz’s signature open-ear design, the OpenRun Pro2 lets you immerse yourself in your workout while being aware of your surroundings. Whether it’s traffic or fellow runners, every important sound finds its way, keeping you safe and enriching your listening experience. OpenRun Pro2 intelligently optimizes the sound range, making your voice clearer even when you’re outdoors.
Compared to previous models, OpenRun Pro2 excels in sound quality. Thanks to the latest DualPitch technology, the headphone has a perfect duet between bone conduction and ventilation speakers, the former handling the mids and highs with absolute precision, while the latter produces a controlled, subterranean bass. The result is an unparalleled listening experience that is as simple as it is powerful. Bone conduction vibrations are also reduced accordingly.
Shokz’s ultra-thin, all-metal bone driver exclusively handles high-frequency sounds, delivering clearer highs and full, natural mids thanks to its high sensitivity and stiffness. The innovative dual reed and coil design stabilizes the vibration system, producing a cleaner vocal sound.
The low-frequency air driver is dedicated to processing low-pitched sound waves to offer louder, deeper bass. The reinforced feather dome diaphragm combined with the patterned PU material ring achieves greater amplitude without compromising sound balance, resulting in flawless sound even when listening at high volumes.
Available in two sizes and two different colors, users can enjoy up to 12 hours of music playback with a larger battery and no added weight. A larger battery combined with dual intelligent drivers assigned specific roles improves battery life while reducing power consumption. A five-minute power boost with quick charging gives you 2.5 hours of playtime. Plus, the waterproof USB-C port allows for easy charging, whether you use the included cable or your own. Dual protective layers and a secure charging port cover create an impenetrable barrier against water while maintaining effortless charging.
Additionally, the OpenRun Pro2 benefits from MultiPoint Pairing to seamlessly switch between two devices without pairing hassles, while it also features an IP55 waterproof design, including a dual-layer mesh construction and nano-hydrophobic coating for durability against the elements.
OpenRun Pro2 is now available.
