Former India opener Shikhar Dhawan added a touch of humor Ravindra Jadeja‘s latest Instagram post.
Enjoying a well-deserved break from cricket, the all-rounder shared pictures with his mare on Monday, September 2. “She’s so good at #poser poses” captioned his post.
Known for his light-hearted nature, Dhawan couldn’t resist commenting playfully on Jadeja’s post.
He wrote, “better than you” have fun with all-around posing skills.
Jadeja, who recently announced his retirement from T20Is, is enjoying his time away from the game. He is not considered for India’s ODI series Sri Lankaa match where the latter won 2-0 ended in a draw.
Jadeja’s T20I retirement and future plans
Jadeja’s retirement from T20Is comes after India’s victory in the 2024 T20 World Cup. attended Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma while announcing his decision to move away from the shortest format. However, he remains committed to playing for India in the ODI and Test formats.
The left-hander was rested for the ODI leg of the Sri Lanka tour earlier this month. He is now set to return to the Indian team for the upcoming two-match Test series Bangladesh.

Jadeja misses the Duleep Trophy from the first round
Meanwhile, along with Jadeja Muhammad Siraj and Umran Malikeliminated from the first round Duleep Trophy 2024-25. Jadeja was initially selected in the B team squad but was released by the BCCI without naming a replacement.
However, he is expected to be available for selection for the India-Bangladesh Test series starting on September 19 at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. The second Test will be played at Green Park in Kanpur from September 27.
