Shakur vs. Keyshawn: A ‘Make Money’ fight? Crawford sees PPV potential as lightweight stars alternative to Tank Davis Search

Terence Crawford says a fight between lightweight Shakur Stevenson and Keyshawn Davis is ‘definitely feasible’, despite the fact that the two are good friends. Crawford calls it a ‘sport’ and can “Make money” in a battle between them.

Large dollars

A fight between WBC lightweight champion Shakur (23-0, 11 COs) and WBO champion Keyshawn (13-0, 9 COs) would make good money on PPV. They will have to set aside their brother’s treaty and focus on the green they would move in.

Both are zoned in the hope of that giant Bank heist against Tank (30-0-1, 28 COs) to fall into their lap. It didn’t happen, and it probably won’t.

Keyshawn needs this battle more than Shakur because he has already grown the lightweight section and is on borrowed time. If they do not fight at 135 now, it could be too late by 2026. Shakur is likely to have to follow Keyshawn 147, 154 or 160 to fight him after this year.

“I would be torn if they were fighting against each other, but at the same time, if they were to fight against each other, it’s a sport,” Terence Crawford said Ring magazineWhen asked what his thoughts would be if Shakur Stevenson and Keyshawn Davis would fight.

“They’re going to make money together and possibly shake hands,” Crawford continued on a fight between Shakur and Keyshawn. “(Floyd) Mayweather and (ZAB) Judah somehow entered the ring (on April 8, 2006). I don’t know how their relationship with Shakur and Keyshawn is compared, but it is definitely feasible and possible (for them to fight).

‘(Lamont) Roach and Gervonta (Davis), I don’t know if they were friends or not, but they were from the same environment. So, it’s definitely feasible, ”Crawford said of a fight between Keyshawn and Stevenson.

Chase tank: an error

Shakur and Keyshawn should have seen the writing on the wall long ago about their pursuit of Tank Davis and understand that it was hopeless. How can they be so wrong to think that He would throw them a leg to give them the fight they asked for? It was so obvious that Gervonta would never fight one of them, wondering why they were both so slow to understand.

It would be wise for Shakur to paste a 10-pound rehydration clause in the contract to prevent Keyshawn from rehydrating to 160 overnight. He will not beat Davis if he runs in the night as big as David Banavidez. The secondary weight test must be on the night to be effective, because if it is in the morning, Keyshawn can still blow up before the game.

Both chased the king of the lightweight division, Gevonta Davis, and tried to get a great payday collision against him, but their desperate, feeling of need scared him.

None of the careers did not take risks with their careers, and preferred to fight like Denys Berinchyk and electrician Josh Padley. It is very clear what Shakur and Keyshawn’s careers are all about. They want that cash. If both were willing to take risks to develop their careers by fighting the best in the last two years, they would probably have gotten the fight against Tank.
