Benn (23-1, 14 COs) is perhaps the best option of Stevenson for a big payday if Gervonta Davis is not available to fight. Tank still has a re -broadcast with Lamont Roach for which he must first take care of.

Fighting Benn in the UK would be risky, but for another reason. It is not that the judges would rob Stevenson. It is the motivation and extra energy that would fight before a supporting crowd. It can be enough for Conor to overcome the skills and advantage of Stevenson.
No Haney/boots at 147

Jaron ‘Boots’ Ennis no longer fights at 147. It is not even worthy of the discussion. Shakur knows that this man has too much talent for him to fight with any style. He could run around the ring like against Edwin de Los Santos, and boots would eventually catch him. It might not last that long. Shakur admits he chose Conor Benn because he is a beginner.

Shakur would not be able to fight on the ropes against Conor Benn like Zepeda. He is a very different kind of puncher, and he would hurt him if he caught him. Stevenson is not crazy enough to try to fight like that. He has looked enough for Conor’s fighting in the past to know that his power is too much for him to be quiet.
