SGA is MVP, Wemby wins ROTY (again)

It’s here. it’s finally here 2023-24 All-LeagueFits Awards were officially announced.

Since the start of the 2017-18 season, the All-LeagueFits awards have only become more contested. LF legends like Russell Westbrook, Jordan Clarkson, and Kelly Oubre still dominate the landscape, but this next generation of tastemakers is fast approaching. From the draw to the second round, rookies turn it on for their first fight in the tunnels. Between Victor Wembanyama diving headfirst into San Antonio’s cowboy culture, James Jaques Jr.’s subtle vibes echoing the beaches of Miami and Alpere Sengun walking away with MVP, the L’s are left in more than capable hands.

After his Rookie of the Year honor last season, Jaylen Williams solidified a spot on the All-LeagueFits First Team. The OKC Thunder were consistently dressed to the nines overall, including Shai Gilges-Alexander becoming the first player in LF history to win back-to-back MVP seasons, while Lou Dort finished third on the team.

This year All-LeagueFits: the teams were carefully selected. The voting system was divided into three categories. 25 percent of the vote was calculated by LeagueFits dissent, with another 25 percent coming from the legendary LeagueFits panel highlighted by Dwyane Wade, Serge Ibaka and Ty Young. The remaining 50 percent of votes were weighed by LeagueFits producer Ian Pierno.

2023-24 ALL-LEAGUES: FIRST TEAM

Three players made their All-LeagueFits First Team debuts this season — Ball Ball, Nikale Alexander-Walker and Jalen Williams — and joined a team that was flamboyant, cool and boasted apparel with flashy accessories.

2023-24 ALL-LEAGUES: SECOND TEAM

LeBron James easily had the best-dressed season of his career this year, while Ty pushed the boundaries of his style, from pea coats to berets and a stream of loafers. Longtime LF legend Russell Westbrook made his seventh All-LeagueFits appearance. And after back-to-back honorable mentions, Jordan Poole has finally cracked the code with his consistent workwear wardrobe.

2023-24 ALL-LEAGUES: THIRD TEAM

Jared Vanderbilt made his third straight All-LeagueFits team, while Jerami Grant’s eclectic style kept turning heads. Across the aisle, Kelly Oubre and D’Angelo Russell put another stamp on their historic LeagueFits passports with fifth and fourth place finishes, respectively.

2023-24 AMBOLI LEAGUES. ROOKIE TEAM

Let’s be real, the rockers went absolutely crazy this year. After becoming Louis Vuitton’s latest ambassador, Victor Wembanyama has fully embraced the legendary brand’s new wave, led by Pharrell Williams. Scoot Henderson’s pick came on the heels of an insane number of picks by Amari Bailey and a breakout year for Brice Sensabo.

2023-24 ALLIGAFITS

Honorable mentions are required. Don’t get distracted. With only 15 spots on All-LeagueFits teams and an otherworldly amount of drops, the guys on this years roster were stuck in layers of palettes, fabrics and textures.
