Sergio Mora endorses Whyte as ideal opponent for Anthony Joshua’s next battle

Commenter Sergio Mora likes the idea that Anthony Joshua is fighting against old veteran Dillian Whyte. Mora believes this is a good match for former two-time heavyweight champion Joshua (28-4, 25 COs) because he “felt his power” before, when they fought in 2015.

Sergio thinks it’s a bad idea for Joshua, 35, to face Jared Anderson (18-1, 15 COs) because it’s a “Tricky” Fight for AJ. Anderson throws combinations and moves well around the ring. Joshua couldn’t think he weighed in the 260s because he was slowly and thinking as he would if he fought the 37-year-old Whyte (31-3, 21 COs).

AJ’s “ancient” career phase

Jared Anderson and Whyte were both named as options for Joshua’s next battle. He needs a significant opponent that he has a good chance of beating, and the two meet the requirements. Joshua is not going to one of the young killersLike Moses, Richard Torrez Jr., or Dainier Pero.

He will probably lose to everyone. I hate to say that, but Joshua is an antique at this stage of his career. He could not be mated with younger fighters of equal ability or power because he would probably lose. We saw what happened to AJ in September when the severe Daniel Dubois blew him out in five rounds. He made Dubois look like pure gold in that battle.

I wouldn’t want to see Joshua fighting for Whyte. This is a horrible struggle, but the British are sentimental and are likely to love a fight between AJ and Dillian.

“What do you think of the idea that AJ is returning against Jared Anderson or Dillian Whyte?” Say commentator Chris Mannix to Dazn About two fighters called Anthony Joshua as possible opponents to fight next.

Joshua’s difficult Anderson struggle

“It depends on which one he will come back,” says Sergio Mora. “I think Anderson is going to be a difficult battle for AJ. So, I would not recommend that he fight him first. Dillian Whyte, is against whom he must first fight. Even though Dillian Whyte is on a narrow track, he is now on the flight. He wins a few fights. He deserves the battle. ‘

Jared Anderson would pose a problem for Joshua because of his combination punch, youth and movement. Although he was blown out in five rounds by an in-shape last August, he landed a lot of push in the fight that would have done a number if the Chinny Joshua was hit by them. Anderson is going to get his pound of flesh before he stops, and I can’t see AJ resisting the Big 6’4 Americaner.

Whyte’s false “run”

‘Dillian Whyte is currently running, but he’s already beaten. There is now a little fame with Anthony Joshua. If you are going to take the two fights, go to Dillian Whyte. He is in the tooth for a long time. He has momentum, but you have been in the ring with him. You felt the power. ‘

Whyte’s recent three-game run is nothing special because he fought Three lower shallow tomato bins To rebuild after being blown out by Tyson Fury in six rounds in 2022. Dillian’s last fight against travel man Ebenezer Tetteeh in December last year, he shot out of the form, old and completely. Based on the performance, Whyte would not beat British heavyweights in the household level, Dave Allen or Johnny Fisher.

“So, go behind Dillian Whyte, which I love that battle at this stage of Joshua’s career. Then, of course, that Anderson struggle, just experience and size alone, must be enough. These are two good fights, and I like the fact that Joshua is still looking in that direction. The old road swarriors, the veterans.

A fight between Joshua and 37-year-old Whyte would not be well received by fans in the UK and the US, due to the problems of reason in the past with drug accusations. In addition, his age, poor performance in his knockout loss to Tyson Fury, and the subpar opposition he has faced since making a questionable option for Joshua.

Whyte’s last three wins:

– Ebenezer Tetteeh: Journeyman
– Christian Hammer: The same
– Jermaine Franklin: Doubtful win
