WSL clubs Arsenal and Manchester City have met their fate in the second round of the UEFA Women’s Champions League.
On September 18/19 and 25/26, 12 qualifiers will be played, to decide who joins the automatic group stage participants Barcelona, Lyon, Bayern Munich and Chelsea.
The 15 teams that progressed from the final round earlier this month join the nine clubs starting at this stage, including Hacken, Hammarby, Juventus, Manchester City, Paris Saint-Germain, Wolfsburg, Real Madrid, Roma and Slavia Praha.
The second round is divided into two paths: the Champions Path with fourteen teams competing for seven group places, and the League Path, which sees ten teams competing for five group places. Both consist of two-legged loops.
