US Sebastian Korda he is currently recovering from surgery on his right elbow. The 24-year-old World No. 22 posted the news on Friday.
“Just wanted to update you all – I’ve been dealing with some elbow issues and my team and I decided surgery was the best option,” Korda wrote. “Everything went well and I can’t wait to get back on the field soon.”
Korda went 31-19 in 2024 and hit a career-high 15th in June. He won the Citi Open title in August, defeating Flavio Cobolli in the final.
Korda went 5-4 in majors, reaching the third round at the Australian Open and Roland-Garros.
