Thurman was held to single digits in punches landed in each round and landed just 28 total punches in the fight. Although he may not have agreed with the strike, Fundora only started punishing him more.
“Whoever the f**k that referee was, don’t hire him for a fucking main event ever. Real talk.” The Towering Inferno landed nearly 50 percent of his power hits in the game, and Keith seemed to have no answers on defense to minimize the damage (Compubox).

With his dominant win on Saturday, Fundora sends a message to the division that he is a force to be reckoned with, demonstrating strength and range. He was able to stop his last three opponents and only seems to be getting better.
“Obviously I’m very happy with my performance. I think it was a great performance. A lot of training for this camp, a lot of training for this camp, we’ve been training for him since last August. It was a shame that we couldn’t fight in October, but we kept training. We stayed to get ready for this (future) Hall of Famer,” Sebastian said at the post-fight press conference.
He wants to continue his championship reign in the super welterweight division as he has no problems making weight at this time. His reach and star power are only growing; he was pleased with the support and the crowd present at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.

What’s next for Fundora remains to be seen. His manager, Sampson Lewkowicz, stressed the current management problems facing the Vergil Ortiz camp could make a fight with him difficult. With the recent fight announcement between Xander Zayas and Jaron Ennis, this could potentially set up an undisputed clash in the future with the potential winner.
Xander is the current unified WBA and WBO super welterweight champion, while Josh Kelly is the IBF champion. Fundora is open to facing the other title holders in the division, but said he will eventually release them as he is only really interested in holding his current title, the WBC belt. He will simply face the other champions to prove that he is the best of the best. After Saturday’s performance, many believe he is.
