Sebastian Fundora does not buy Tim Tszyu’s excuses for his cuts, which influenced his performance, which he said caused his loss against Tszyu last year. Fundora (22-1-1, 14 COs) says Tszyu (25-2, 18 COs) had his eyes on him all the time, and he doesn’t have the way fighters do if they have a difficult time to see after they are cut.
Tszyu’s does not cut a factor
Tszyu seemed to open his eyes wide throughout the competition. Blood poured out a cut on his scalp that Tim suffered in round two when he encountered Fundora’s left — elbow while trying to hit him.
WBC Junior Middle Weight Champion Fundora defends against Tszyu in a re -broadcast on July 19 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. The event will be streamed on Pbc ppv on Prime video. The price of the card is $ 59.99.
“This battle is the biggest battle in my career, and I can feel it. Usually it’s the next battle, but that’s the one,” Tim Tszyu said Sport on Prime on his re -broadcast with Sebastian Fundora on July 19.
Unfair Tszyu title shot?
What some fans have a problem with is that Tszyu gets a title against Fundora, despite having a record of 1-2 in his last three fights. Tim was knocked out in the third round by the IBF junior middleweight champion Bakhram Murtazaliev in October last year.
Tszyu’s lonely victory since then was against the lower selected Joseph Spencer in April last year, which was a confidence battle. Fans argue that there are more deserving contenders for the WBC’s rankings waiting for a world title against Fundora.
It is not fair for Tszyu to be allowed to hit them to fight for a world title after losing two of his last three fights. He essentially failed in a title shot against Sebastian, and his cut apology does not fly with people. He does not want to confront the truth that he was not good enough, just as when Bakhram wiped him out.
Tim’s “Short Camp” claim
“I have to study him, adapt to him, not just a week of sparring. I can have a proper camp, “Tszyu said of his re -broadcast with Fundora, contrasting it against how he fought Sebastian at short notice last year. “As I said before, he should have killed me when he had the chance. I felt in control in the first few rounds. ‘
As you can see, Tszyu mentions that he had a short camp last year for his fight against Fundora. This is another excuse by Tim to try and see what happened, rather than possessing the loss and admitting to the fans that the better fighter beat him.
It was clear to see that Fundora’s length, long arms and high punch was a nightmare for Tszyu. He was not used to anyone who threw so many blows, overwhelming his ability to block the incoming fire. Tszyu’s habit of picking up on a few shots was not a match for the bombing of Fundora shots.
Fundora about Tszyu’s vision
“In boxing, things change so quickly,” says Fundora. “The whole fight, I saw him look in my eyes. I didn’t think the cut bothered him at all. It wasn’t him blind or his eyes closed. I can’t see out of my eyes. He saw the whole thing all the time. Just like me. I saw from my nose. There were a few times when the blood went into my eyes, but that’s what we do. In boxing, you said, ‘says Fundora.
Sebastian does not agree with Tszyu’s excuses because he sees it as an attempt by him to declare his loss of fans. Fundora’s remarks indicate that he does not agree with Tszyu’s attempt to varnish the truth.
