HomeBoxing Boxing Scull-Shishkin Rematch ordered by IBF By NetSPORT November 26, 2024 0 38 FacebookTwitterPinterestWhatsApp By Boxing News – 25/11/2024 – Commentary The IBF has ordered an immediate rematch between super middleweight champion William Scull (23-0, 9 KOs) and Vladimir Shishkin (16-1, 10 KOs) to clear up the questionable results of their previous fight on October 19 in Stadthalle, Falkensee . , Germany. Scull (32) was outworked and pummeled by Shishkin for 12 rounds, but the judges surprisingly gave the victory to the undefeated Cuban. It looked like Shishkin’s win, but the judges deemed Scull the winner. Shishkin’s management pushed for a rematch with the IBF and got their wish. There isn’t a lot of fan interest in seeing Scull fight Canelo Alvarez or any of the other notable fighters in the 168-lb division. Hopefully there is no controversy in the second fight between Scull and Shishkin/ The IBF ordered William Scull and Vladimir Shishkin to meet in an immediate rematch. Scull somewhat controversially defeated Shishkin last month to win a 168-pound title. Shishkin’s team pleaded for a rematch. The IBF granted it. — Chris Mannix (@SIChrisMannix) 25 November 2024 Boxing news 24 » Scull-Shishkin Rematch ordered by IBF Last updated on 25/11/2024 Source link Share FacebookTwitterPinterestWhatsApp Previous articleFall 2024 Cross Country Training & Racing Program November 22, 2024 Week 10 Day 5 Friday is an easy run.Next articleAfghanistan’s Allah Ghazanfar clinches a huge deal for Mumbai Indians (MI) in the IPL 2025 mega auction.
