To those who seek a Scotty Cameron Phantom Mallet Putter, They were either limited to the finish of silver or required a refinement work.
But now the company is emitting four new forms of Phantom Black with limited publication to give players who prefer a darker, silent look of a black tour in Cameron’s most forgiving putters. Issuing follows in the limited direction of last year B3 Triple Black Design Ltd Putters, which saw four forms of blade issued in Tour Black, a common tournament on the tournament.
“With last year’s Ltd Ltd Putters B3 Triple Black Design Ltd, we were introduced to dedicated players Tour Black Finishing in some very desirable edges,” said the founder of Scotty Cameron. “This time, we focused on Malle, especially Phantom models that we most often modify for tour players. With Phantom Black 5.5, 7, 9.2r and 11 Mallete, we have created four new models that include specific reactions associated with stretching, overall form, neck configuration and, of course, in Tour.”
Continue to read below about three things they need to know about new models, and my thoughts on the new Scotty Cameron Phantom Black Putters.
1. Black striking view
Black Tour Black’s conclusion has been a common request for Mallets in PGA Tour, according to Cameron and senior R&D director Austie Rollinson.
The finish is applied using a PVD treatment on the 303 stainless steel heads and is often preferred by players who want a less shiny look. Phantom models also contain ingredients made of 6061 aircraft scale aluminum, in this case the finish is applied with a fog or anodized.
2. Three known forms, a new
Phantom Black release has four different shapes, three of which are already in the regular line of retail fantasy. In addition to finishing and new grinding pattern, all phantom black shapes represent subtle changes from regular models.

Phantom 5.5: 5.5 is one of the most popular forms of ghosts with a sloping short neck to give it a slight hanging. Unlike retail release, Phantom Black 5.5 contains a white view on topline, compared to the three points in the regular model.

Phantom 7: Phantom Black 7 contains a custom -designed double -designed shaft that Rollinson said it was specifically designed to imitate the way a plumbing helps a player approximate but in a balanced face design.

Ghost 9.2r: 9.2R is a completely new form for Cameron’s retail. It contains more rounded contours, a short view, and an order “inspired by 009” plumbing neck This is shorter and closer to the heel to promote more finger flow.

Ghost 11: With Phantom Black 11, little was changed with Cameron’s highest Mali Mallet, but the look was tweak to remove the arrows near the face.
3. The chain connection mill goes Phantom
The chain connection mill pattern was initially introduced to Studio -stylewhich softens the feeling by minimizing facial contact points.
The chain connection mill also helps to produce a favorite sound for tournaments and characteristics of rolls, even without the insert of carbon steel in the studio style line.

My thoughts!
While the title is one of several companies operating in a two-year product cycle, they are very good to keep their products fresh in years. The triple B3 black line is a great example from last year to the end of the life of the super selective product; The same goes for the beginning of this year with the options of Black Finish in series T handcuffs or Vokey SM10 Can Wedges oil.
This is another great way for the title to keep its existing lines of fresh products without having to change much. This is exactly what Scotty Cameron is doing here with the Phantom line, which was last updated in early 2024, making it due to a refresh as we go to 2026.
What is really interesting is the addition of the chain milling model model from the new studio style line released earlier this year. This is not unheard of as Cameron restored the form of catalina to the triple black B3 release last year before adding it to the regular studio style line in winter release.
The model of the chain connection mill is the biggest technological progress of the studio style line, along with the new studio carbon insert, so its behavior on the Phantom line is an intelligent. Also also perhaps a sign of things that will come with the other full scotty Cameron Mallet.
