Welcome! Where are you, you ask. I’m calling it this weekend 9. Think of it as a place to warm you for Friday, Saturday and Sunday. We will have thoughts. We will have tips. We will have tweets. But only nine at all, though sometimes perhaps more and sometimes perhaps less. How much for whom am I? The paragraphs below show some of the stories. I can reach nick.piastowski@golf.com
Open Women’s Week in the US approaches. Let’s do 9 others for 9, where we look at nine players that I care about because I think you’ll be interested in them. Typically in front of the diplomas, I like to look at every participant to see what is written about them, along with the teaching of the biographical nugget. Some of the research turn into a story. Some of the findings not.
Some of them will include in this country. Here we go.
– When Abbey Daniel was in high school, doctors believed she would never play sports again after she fell 10 meters and broke her arm in four places.
-Lindy Duncan, after a competitive completion last month at the Chevron Championship, shared a note on Instagram in which she spoke to understand her sister’s message about “less war”. You can read that story here.
– How will Ariya Jutanugarn respond after her noisy chip in Chevron? Golf Dylan Dothier wrote about the last round here.
– Nataliya Guseva is the first Russian to win an LPGA card. Last fall, she also looked at her boyfriend, Egor Eroshenko, became the first Russian to make a PGA Tour cut. HereYou can read that story, written by Golf Channel.
-Aline Krauter was one of the nine players who was penalized for a slow game at her Uswo qualifying event, and she failed to progress after she came short in a Play off seven for one. It was finally given a place on the field, though. Golfweek’s Beth Ann Nichols wrote for all here.
– Earlier this month, Chisato Iwai lost the cut in the Black Desert Championship after two strokes were penalized. Matt Craddock I Golf every month wrote about this here.
– The story of Megan Khang’s family is worth your time. Steve eubanks, for the lpga, shared it here.
– Lilia’s family story also applies to your time. Athletics Brendan Quinn wrote that he shared it here.
– Lydia KO can win a Grand Slam career with a win in uswo. (Although the LPGA plays five degrees, Defines a magnificent career as winning four of the events. If a player wins the five major, they will have won what is called super career Grand Slam.)
In fact, let’s do 18 for 9. Here are nine other items.
The LPGA just announced its new commissioner. He filed 4 goals
-Ilhee Lee will be well received in Wisconsin-Ijo said he is a fan of Green Bay Packers. Golf Digest’s Painter Jill Lopez wrote about this here.
– In last year’s Uswo, Wichanee Meechai shared the lead after three rounds. She also believed that the house she was staying with was wandering. Golf Jack Harsh wrote about it here.
– Emily Odwin is the first player from Barbados to play in Uswo.
– Sophia Popov’s reaction story to an error of an LPGA is applying for your time. Nichols wrote it here.
-Gabi Ruffels once forgot to enroll in Q. Hirsh School wrote about how she was healed, and you can read the story here.
– Sarah Schmelzel’s appearance in Golf “Subpar” is an indispensable observation, and you can do this by clicking here.
-Andie Smith, during the national amateur of women Augusta, made a hole in one in Augusta’s par-3 course, and you can watch that video here.
-The five-time big winner Yani Tseng, a right-hand player, is setting Lefty. Golf Sean Zak wrote about this here.
– Albane Valenzuela believes in a world tour. Nichols wrote about this here.
In fact, I have two more, in honor of the Play off format, I think.
– Explains David Shelter of the USA here Why there is a bell in the 7th hole of Erin Hills.
-In 1998, Wisconsin also hosted Uswo, at Blackwolf Run, and SE-little struck one of the most memorable shooting of the event. You can see it below.

Let’s see if we can find eight more items for weekend 9.
A Making from Java – and for the following weeks
2 Craig Kessler met with reporters on Thursday After the LPGA Commissioner was appointedAnd, from most accounts, he ‘won’ the press conference.
I thought this quotation was interesting and split into a story Written by golf painter Digest Lopez.
“I hope they know that they have a deeply careful commissioner who will work his tail to bring this organization to the next level and tell their stories because they deserve to be said,” Kessler said. “I think when the world listens to them, they will fall even more in the LPGA.”
You come for the competition. You stay – and connect – because of the stories.
Another receipt from Java – and for the following weeks
3 During his victory in last week’s PGA championship, Scottie Scheffler Fight a Miss Left – while Scheffler’s Caddy, Ted Scott, told him only to target the right, Scheffler said.
On Siriusxm RadioScott split his side.
“You ask a question and you get a answer,” he said, “and sometimes it’s the wrong answer, like,” What are this blow? “, And sometimes it’s like,” Oh, it’s right, “and this breaks up properly. So it’s a game with guess-time. And I’m like a weather engine. Unfortunately, sometimes Weathermen really doesn’t seem to lose their jobs, so we sometimes do like Kadie. But if I do best.
“And I think if you are shooting a gun and whenever you pull your foot, you miss the left target, it’s the easiest thing to do is just aim for the right, instead of trying to adjust the weapon. Scottie’s a simple golf player and simple technique as he thinks of the game, so I just noticed that he did a pair. Just starting from the left, so he asked me, I, I thought, I don’t need it, thinking that I think I didn’t think that the swings a couple of holes in a row and everything was cleaned, but just starting from the left, so he asked me, I was loved.

4. What am I reading (except The thoughtful prose of my colleagues)? This item is worth clicking.
HereChris Wood contributed to a blog of players for the DP World Tournament, opening up in the wars and returning. This, in particular, was good:
“When I started trying to go back to the Golf Course in 2023, my coach decided we just had to start with a 6-hekuri and a constrainor and go and play nine holes. That was my first time back on the course and that was great because there is no really trauma to me with a 6-iron point. That practice a little more difficult because I can do a little fall now, while a year or earlier, more harm was truly traumatic. “

Another golf story that could only care about me
A worrying stake, a DQ and an apology. Golf crash blames only 1 person
6. On two of his latest press conferences, Scheffler has mentioned his game in other sports. At the PGA Championship, after noting that you could not play protection against other Golf players, he talked about basketball.
“I was a good basketball player in high school,” Scheffler said. “I was the blocking boy. I was the guy of hustle. That’s what happens when you don’t have a lot of talent, you have to hurry.”
This week, in Charles Charles SchwabAfter a question about his ‘Spike’ hat after winning PGA, he spoke about football.
“When I played football,” said Scheffler, “I didn’t score a lot of touches, so I wasn’t very experienced in this.”

9. This came after writing 50 observations from PGA (which you can read here) ::
Just read your 50 thoughts on PGA. I like your items and observations, but I have to help you here:
– Justin Thomas winner Portrush? You are in some heavy cocaine crack. He is very overestimated. Gains a cursed tour in what, two or three years, and now he is hot again? Give me a break. The same gang of writers who think Jordan Speith is ready to win a major are those who Hype JT. No one can stay in the same room with Rory.
– Rory is most likely to be overlooked (talking to the media) all four days because he was round ** tp *** ed off !! …
– Rory loves Quail Hollow and is looking forward to returning, but after winning his masters, whom everyone is calling one of the best diplomas in history, I’m sure he will simply spend the rest of this season with the only tours that excite him being open at Royal Portrush and Ryder Cup. So, yes, he is likely to feel that he does not have to prove anything to anyone anymore. It will take some time for him to take any interest, except for some special tournaments. Another reason why he is likely to be able to give as ** to talk to the media. … Bottom line: Rory is Golf now and will continue to be. I fell asleep seeing this PGA. The fact that the one who does not speak is a big job shows how boring the rest of the PGA was without it.
A good video for your weekend
