Scottie Scheffler’s Searching for his 18th PGA Tour title destroyed a slight Hiccup on Saturday evening, like Scheffler’s regular caddy, Ted scottHe had to leave the tournament for a family emergency.
The news was First reported by Todd Lewis of Golf Channel.
In an updating of the golf channel from the basics of TPC SouthwindLewis said Scott left Memfis after the end of the third round on Saturday to fly home to Luiziana. Lewis also reported that the other two tournament cadds with the early Times Times on Sunday approached Scheffler’s coach Randy Smith to offer their services to Scheffler, who has the second time until the last, along with JJ Spaun. Scheffler is currently two strokes after leader Tommy Fleetwood, who is playing in the latest tournament with Justin Rose.
According to Lewis, instead Scheffler called Brad Payne, PGA Tour’s hat and a tall friend. Lewis described Payne as a life coach and spiritual guide to the Scheffler family. Payne left Dallas in Memfis on Saturday to be ready for Scheffler’s Sunday round.
This is not the first time Payne has entered the foot for Ted Scott. At last year’s PGA championship, Payne wore the bag for Scheffler during the third round while Scott attended his daughter’s high school graduation.
