Although the 2024 PGA Tour season has officially ended, many of the game’s brightest stars are in action this week at the 2024 World Hero Challenge in the Bahamas, hosted by Tiger Woods.
It’s not in the official Tournament event, but there is real money on the line for players and real betting available for the rest of us. Here are the full Hero World Challenge odds and betting favorites to start the week.
Hero World Challenge Odds: Betting Favorites
For the first time since the beginning of September, Scottie Scheffler is back between the ropes this week to try to add another (albeit unofficial) victory to his remarkable 2024 season, one that has made him a favorite to win Player of the Year.

Scheffler is the prohibitive betting favorite on Hero, opening the week with +250 odds to win and for good reason. Scheffler has spent a long period at the top of the official world golf rankings thanks to seven PGA Tour victories this year. Among them was his second major Masters title.
Further supporting Scheffler’s chances is the fact that he is also the defending champion this week. after winning the World Hero 2023 Challenge with three with a final score of 20 under.
But Scheffler will face a large group of proven winners in the 20-man field. American stars Justin Thomas AND Patrick Cantlay are tied for second in odds to win at +900, with Ludwig Aberg comes in fourth place with +1100.
