When RORY MCILLOY WINNING finally fell into the play off Sunday2024 SCOTTIE Scheffler’s champion Title protection is over. And, though he had failed to win his third title of masters, he still had an important job to do: putting the green jacket on Mcilroy’s shoulders.
In fact, he was asked to do it twice.
The official jacket ceremony of the gentlemen is held out of the club near the 18th green, with seated Augusta members playing the backdrop of speeches from Chairman Fred Ridley And the winner. The main point, however, is when the winner from year ago helps the new champion in his green jacket.
But first, the winner goes to Butler Cabin for a ceremony made with green jacket made and an interview with CBS ‘Jim Nantz.
Ridley is a part of that ceremony, and so is the winner from last year, who has the same job as the one at the official ceremony.
Scheffler’s Butler’s rapid output of butler
So once mcilroy had celebrated with his friends and family immediately after his victoryAnd then headed to score to make it official, he got up to meet Scheffler on Butler Cabin.
Mcilroy was interviewed to start the segment and quickly became exciting as it was immersed when Scheffler, on the other hand, had to sit with silence near Rory as the Waterworks started, with Rory’s green jacket draped on his arm.

After the interview was over, Ridley addressed Scheffler and placed his march orders.
“Scottie …”, Ridley began, “we would be honored if you would now put the green jacket in our 2025 Rory Mcilroy champion.”
Then both of the good stood up and Scheffler tried to put the green jacket on Mcilroy for the first time. While no one on Earth plays golf, as well as these two men now, they both immediately tried to insert Rory’s right arm into the jacket.
But as soon as the jacket crashed, Scheffler took a step back and quickly went to the screen straight, without even giving Rory a handshake, to never be seen …

This is up to two days later, when Scheffler appeared for his winner at RBC Heritage, where he will try to defend another 2024 title this week.
Scottie explains in RBC Heritage
The RBC ceremony included a ceremonial fire of a ball while Scheffler hit a car in his Plaid winner’s jacket from that tournament. After fanaticism, he spoke with the media and came out the topic of his rapid exit of the Butler cabin.
Scheffler was quick to explain what he was thinking.
“At that moment, as if it were such an exciting day for (Mcilroy), I just tried to stay away and essentially get the jacket without shameing it or myself,” made Scheffler joke as he started laughing.
Rory Mcilroy sent us a message for years. Finally, it was expected
Then Scheffler offered a more thoughtful description of his experience seeing Rory Win personally, and how he can relate to the relief that Mcilroy felt.
“I have to see the whole celebration. I saw the conclusion. It was really interesting for me to see it because I have – I don’t have the meaning of what to ask about the Grand Slam career, but I have a small understanding of what is to be asked, hey, you have accomplished this, but you have not accomplished it. He may be too taxable for people.”
And Scheffler also revealed that from his point of view, Mcilroy’s celebration tenor looked like relief than joy, something Mcilroy confirmed on Sunday evening.
“It was good to be able to see Rory finish the job. Out of the outside it looked much more as relief than everything,” Scheffler said. “Rory has done everything in the Golf game, and that was really the last thing for him to do. The guy won the FedEx Cup, the players, all four. Maybe the only thing would be the Olympics he would like to win.”

He went on, “so for him, it was really good for me to be there at that moment. He is a good friend of mine. Being able to congratulate him and just see the joy of him and his family was really delightful.”
Fortunately for both the winners of the masters, after their initial obstruction of the butler cabin, The official green jacket ceremony went perfectly shortly thereafter. Which is especially important as there is a very strong chance of one or both will have to do again at the ceremony in the coming years.
