Scheffler, Dechambeau Top Basting

Open betting favorites

Speaking to the 10th Open held in Oakmont, a familiar face is at the top of the betting favorites: World no. 1 Scottie Scheffler. Scheffler enters a week with +280 chances of winning.

Scheffler won his third major title in last month’s PGA Championship. This was one of the three victories in his last four starts, which makes him watch a fourth big win.

But the player in second place is more surprise. Rory Mcilroy, World no. 2, won masters in April, one of three PGA Tour Wins this season. But after a poor show on the RBC Canadian Open, Mcilroy has been moved to third place in betting chances at +1100.

Taking his country per second is defending US open champion Bryson dechambeauwhich enters a week with +750 chances of winning. Dechambeau, who played well in Masters and PGA, will shoot for his third national championship Title this week.

Former US Open Champion Ion Rahm is in the fourth in +1200, with two -big winners Xander schauuffle after it at +2200.
