Santos and Umbro have presented a third special edition kit Neymar Jr. and his first unforgettable spell with the team.
The Brazil International ascended global prominence through the Santos Academy, making 225 appearances and scored 136 goals before joining Barcelona in 2013. He returned to the club in January 2025, marking an emotional meeting more than a decade later.
The new t -shirt brings all blue iconic design: an aspect associated with some of the most memorable times of Santos. It has a tonal swirl chart on the front and the sleeves, along with several reflexive nodes in Neymar’s legacy.
A classic polo collar pays tribute to Neymar’s raised neck style while the sentence “I’m going, but … I’ll be back!“(” I go, but … I’ll be back! “) It is printed on the back of the neck, a reference to the farewell message of the striker in 2013.
On the front, a special patch shows a crown and the word “prince” (Prince): Neymar’s nickname in the club. The design subtly incorporates its number 10 and the letter “N” into the typeface.
Neymar and the team debuted the kit on June 1 at Series Shock against Botafogo at Caldeira Urban Stadium.
Unfortunately, it was not the return of the fairies that many expected: Santos fell 1-0, and Neymar was sent in the 76th minute after trying to score with his hand at a time reminiscent of Diego Maradona Infamous “Hand of God”.
Safe to say, that particular moment will not be incorporated into future tribute kits.
