“I will tell you an incident about Rahul Dravid. When KCA tried to ignore Sanju and destroy his career, Dravid ji was involved. Wherever Sanju (Samson) is today, he owes it to Rahul Dravid. We have forgotten everyone who showered us with warmth and generosity” said Vishwanath.
Samson Vishwanath recalled Rahul Dravid’s phone call where legendary Indian cricketer Sanju asked Samson not to worry about other things and concentrate on preparing for the NCA (National Cricket Academy).
“After putting down the phone, he told me, ‘This is Rahul sir.'” He said, “Sanju, I understand everything with you. They all envy you. Tu chinta mat kar (Don’t worry). Don Don’t let your morale down,” Vishwanath recalled.
“I’m done with it. You continue training and prepare for NCA.” He performed at a higher level than KCA and took Sanju under his wings,” he said.
How did the incident between Sanju Samson and KCA start?
