Sanju Samson shows his full spectrum
Sanju Samson’s knock was silky and full of powerful drives that he is known for. Despite losing opening partner Abhishek Sharma early, India took full advantage of their powerplay limitations as they cruised to 82-1 in the first six overs.
He did not stop even when the spinners came to bowl. The right-hander showed the full range of his hitting as the pitch widened. In the 10th over of the match, he smashed 5 sixes off leg-spinner Rishad Hossain. When he was at the crease, he played some effortless shots all over the ground.
But the road was not easy for this talented Indian cricketer. Samson did not succeed in the first two games and was under a lot of pressure before this match. But he came out on top and relaxed after this shot.
