Sam Noakes is confident that he defeated Abdullah Mason on November 22 after the sparring he did with Shakur Stevenson. Noakes (17-0, 15 food) says the sparring he did with WBC lightweight champion Shakur made him realize that he was not “Miles Away” from his level.
Sam did not provide details of what kind of success he had with Stevenson, but it is possible that he has fled him after contacting some of his big shots.
Noakes against Mason will fight for the vacant WBO title of 135 pounds on Dazn on November 22 in the Anb Arena in Riyadh.
Noakes’ career progress
“I think it’s someone’s struggle. I’m buzzing for that, ‘says Sam Noakes of the Ring Magazine channel on his fight against Abdullah Mason on November 22. “I’m not worried. I didn’t bother when someone thinks, ‘You didn’t fight someone to come here. “I’m going there, ready to get the title.
It’s a little late now. Noakes is here, and if nothing else, he gets a nice payday from the Mason match. There is nothing he can do at this point if he is not ready for the monstrous step in class. Ideally, a few years ago, Noakes’ promoter had to start suiting him against top fighters. He is a six-year-old pro, and it will be the first time Sam is fighting a top-15-man.

Stevenson Sparring Increases Noakes
“It was probably a good turning point for me. I haunted five rounds of four minutes (with Shakur Stevenson), ‘Noakes said about the sparring he did with Shakur last January. “I could see that he was not miles away. It was good for me. It would be good to get it. It was nice that I held my own. He came out and said, ‘He is a big puncher. “It’s nice to know that it’s in your head and you’re not just in it.
It is not a big case that Noakes had success with his sparring session against Shakur. The native of light New Jersey, Stevenson, has not proven himself as a fighter at the elite level since he came up from Super Featherweight. If Noakes can win the vacant WBO title on November 22, it will not take long before he has the opportunity to fight Shakur in a unification. It is as Stevenson holding on to his WBC title much longer.
