After their humiliating defeat in the Asia Cup India On more than one occasion, Pakistan T20I can be changed by Skipper Salman Agha’s presence and all-rounder Shadab Khanwho previously served as vice-captain of the side.
In the last turn of events, PCB cannot host the scheduled Trirow Afghanistan and Sri Lanka are scheduled to be played from November 19. If the series happens, Pakistan selectors will want to test Shadab Khan.
Salman Agha will be replaced by Pakistani all-rounder Shsab Khan
27-year-old spin bowling all-rounder Shsab Khan, who previously served as Pakistan’s vice-captain, is likely to replace Salman Agha as the captain of Pakistan’s T20I team. According to a recent report by PTI, Shadab will return to the T20I side and lead the national team after coming out of the rehabilitation program next month.

SHADAB has extensive experience in T20 Cricket and has extensive capital experience in Pakistan’s domestic franchise tournament, Pakistan Super League (PSL) and domestic cricket as well. While the PCB is determined to back Salman Agha as Pakistan’s Skipper, some PTI sources said that Shadab is being looked at as the long-term captain.
Shadab Khan’s comeback date announced
Shadab Khan last played in a home series against Bangladesh before suffering a shoulder injury during the series. His return will be significant as he replaces Salman Agha as the T20I captain. Before the operation, he was the vice-captain in the shortest format.
Shadab Khan is expected to come out of rehab between November 11 for the upcoming bilateral home series against Sri Lanka and till 15 after a long wait, a reliable source said.
“He plans to play a domestic four-day game in the Quaid-e-Azam trophy before the Sri Lanka series,” he said. Pakistan, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, Afghanistan and Australia.

The 27-year-old Pakistani all-rounder has played an all-rounder in all three formats of the game, featuring in 6 Tests, 70 ODIS and 112 T20Is. Batting Salman Agha, 31, who led Pakistan in the Asia Cup, has played in 32 T20Is in his career in 22 Tests, 41 ODIS and 32 T20Is. He narrowly missed his century during the first test against South Africa in Lahore recently. He took 20, 17 and 5 wickets each.
