Crawley, well set up and quick with 29 balls from 38 balls, charged forward but couldn’t get close to the ball. The delivery swung mercilessly off his inside edge and flattened mid-stump, leaving Crowley visibly shocked as Noor recorded the major breakthrough.
Noor, who was on a blistering pace, produced another masterpiece to dismiss Markram on the next ball. This time the delivery was tossed full and pulled sharply back outside the off stump. Attempting an ambitious drive, Markram was beaten all round as the ball bounced off his pads. Although the initial appeals appeared incomplete, the review proved decisive, revealing three reds in Ball Tracking and sealing Markram’s fate with a golden duck. The ball was shown hitting the middle and top of the leg stump, highlighting Noor’s accuracy and control. Those two wickets in consecutive deliveries derailed the Eastern Cape’s batting and showcased Noor’s ability to seize the moment under pressure.
