A collective bowling effort by South Africa restricts India to a low total
South Africa’s bowlers excelled as they restricted India to a low score, preventing them from forming any significant partnerships. India’s top order crumbled early with Sanju Samson, Abhishek Sharma and Suryakumar Yadav getting dismissed back-to-back. Axar Patel showed intent with aggressive batting but unfortunately ran out, further derailing India’s innings. Hardik Pandya’s unbeaten 39 put up some resistance towards the end, allowing India to post a total of 124/6 in the allotted 20 overs. South Africa’s disciplined bowling and Miller’s exceptional fielding gave them the upper hand as they chased down a manageable target.
