The SA20 2025 auction Tuesday ended with six franchises finalizing their squads for the upcoming season, which begins on January 9.
With the exception of the Joburg Super Kings, all franchises have successfully completed the 19-man squad requirement. According to the rules, each squad must include a minimum of 10 South African players, a maximum of seven international players, one Rookie and one Wildcard player.
After the auction, six franchises participated in the rookie draft, in which they selected each rookie.
While five franchises have filled all their roster spots, the Super Kings are yet to pick a Wildcard player.
With the squads finalised, the stage is set for an exciting and competitive SA20 2025 season. Fans can look forward to exciting matches and intense battles between the six franchises.
