Elena Rybakina was gathered by a group to defeat Dayana Yastremska on Saturday in Omnium Banque Nationale, keeping Ukrainian 5-7, 6-2, 7-5 to set a quarterfinal with Marta Kostyuk.
Rybakina, ninth and ranked No.12, had to work for her after she destroyed a vacation in the opening set and broke down while serving to stay in her in the twelfth match.
She withdrew and enabled in the second set before returning the tables in Yastremska with a late break for 6-5.
In the last match, Yastremska rescued a trio of points of the match and won a holiday point, which was deleted by a bold ACE of the second service from Rybakina.

The 2023 semifinalist will face Marta Kostyuk, who defeated McCartney Kessler, 5-7 6-3 6-3, in the 16th round on Saturday.
Rybakina has won two of the previous three meetings with Costyuk, including the last two.
