Wrexham’s co -owner, Ryan Reynolds, has given a £ 10,000 to a 13 -year -old fundrapping campaign, a 13 -year -old Wrexham brave girl, who fights against a rare and aggressive form of heart cancer.
Lexi Collins was diagnosed with the disease in June and has already undergone two open heart surgeries, had a pacemaker equipped and is currently receiving intensive chemotherapy.
Despite the challenges, Lexi’s dream is to visit New York City this Christmas: a desire that is now approaching to become a reality thanks to the community’s support.
The initial fundraising collection was created by Lexi’s family and supported by Wrexham FC police, who launched his Page Gofundme To help fund your dream journey. With the generous £ 10,000 donation of Reynolds, the original £ 20,000 target has been achieved.
Wrexham police shared the exciting news, saying: “A huge thanks to our friend @vancityreynolds for showing his incredible generosity again. Due to his support, Lexi will go to New York when he feels good enough. Not all heroes wear layers, he wears a red and black dress.”

In addition to the contribution of Reynolds, there is also a Page of separated GOFUNDE Configured by Lexi’s family to cover the costs for potential treatment abroad, travel and substantial medical expenses associated with their fight against cancer.
The largest donation on this page is Ethan Payne’s £ 5,000, known as Behzinga, a YouTube star and Sidemen member.
Although it is not confirmed, it is believed that this generous donation comes from Payne, who had previously shared links with the collection of lexi funds their social media accounts.
