Ryan Garcia Subscribe for Vada testing

Ryan Garcia enrolled for Vada for drug testing before his 2nd warm -up fight against Rolando ‘Rolly’ Romero at Times Square in New York.

Lance pugmire reports That Garcia (24-1, 20 COs) reported Vada to put the wheels into effect for his three-match agreement with Turki al-Sheikh. This will make Devin Haney and his father, Bill Haney, happy. Of course, Devin may not be there to fight against Ryan if he is destroyed by Jose Ramirez on May 2.

Dev received an under map slot on Turki’s Garcia against Rolly event. It must be a difficult pill for Devin Haney to swallow, lose his honorary position as the main liner and be demoted to the bottom map. If Haney loses against Jose Ramirez, he could fall even further than co-function. It can get worse.

Charity fight?

The plan is for Kingry to face the recently knocked out Rolly (16-2, 13 COs) in what Garcia calls a ‘n’ ‘Charity ‘matterThen Devin Haney could face a re -broadcast in October. The third battle for Ryan could come against Jaron ‘Boots’ Ennis in February 2026.

Fighting Rolly is a terribly poor match for Kingry, as he stands in front of a man who was knocked out by Isaac ‘Pitbull’ Cruz in the eighth round on March 30. Garcia wanted to fight Pitbull, but former WBA Light Welterweight champion who was recently beaten did not want to negotiate a fight before his February 1 collision against Angel Fierro in the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Rolly Romero was apparently chosen as the backup of Ryan Garcia because the box public is familiar with his fighting against Gervonta Davis, Ismael Barroso and Pitbull Cruz. Rolly is a low -quality opponent for Ryan, and there are many fighters at 140 with more talent but less name recognition.

You can blindly choose from someone in the light welterweight top 15 and with a much better choice for Garcia to fight than Rolly Romero. I’d rather see Garcia running the risk of taking a loss by fighting one of the young guns than destroying him Rolly in the main event of a PPV card.

Mercado too risky

The young talent promoted by the match, Ernesto Mercado (17-0, 16 food), would be ideal for using as Ryan’s opponent, but he would be too dangerous. Mercado looks like he could be the next star for the 140 -pound division. He will be avoided by everyone.
