Ryan Garcia says he is still open to fighting Devin Haney next in a rematch or running back with Rolando ‘Rolly’ Romero after his loss of him Friday night. Garcia (24-2, 20 COs) leaves it to the fans to decide. Garcia will look bad to run away from his loss to Romero (17-3, 13 COs) without even trying to avenge it.

Romero hit Garcia in the second round on the way to a 12-round decision on Times Square in New York. Ryan says he didn’t feel “progressing” in battle. He looked weak and tired. Garcia’s punching force in his last fight against Haney was gone. Some box fans on social media say his lack of performance is a sign that he has lost his power now that he is off Ped’s.
Fan’s choice?
If Ryan walks away from his defeat to Rolly without trying to avenge it, it will look bad. If you try to see a battle between him and Haney after a loss, it will be difficult.
“What the fans want. If they want me to run it back with Rolly, let’s do it. If they want me to go straight back to Devin, let’s do it, ‘says Ryan Garcia during the Press conference after battle After his loss of Rolando ‘Rolly’ Romero on Friday night, when asked if he still wants to fight Devin Haney next or Rolando in a rematch.
Ryan must take responsibility for his own decisions rather than leave it to the fan. This is his career. He will not be able to make fans forget about his loss by fighting against Haney.
“I’m willing to try one of them again. I couldn’t get anything going on in the training camp,” Ryan said. “I didn’t feel like I had more conditioning or more energy. I didn’t feel like I’m progressing in any way. I mentioned Derrick, and we started to find out.
“We only had five weeks. It was one of the things I didn’t know what was going on. I don’t know why I couldn’t find progressive sharpness in the camp. We still practiced, but nothing clicked,” Garcia said.
