Ryan Garcia is interested in facing cruiserweight Jake Paul when he returns from his year-long suspension in April 2025.
Garcia (24-1, 20 KOs) says his lack of size won’t prevent him from beating Jake (11-1, 7 KOs) because he has the superior technical skills. Ryan believes he will knock out the 27-year-old Paul within five rounds.
“It could be against Jake Paul. He tried to knock off a guy Mike (Tyson). We said we could manage it one day, and it created his boxing career. So, I’m here to end it. If I fought Jake Paul, I’d probably be 185,” Ryan Garcia told Ariel Helwani’s. YouTube channel, discusses a fight he wants when he returns from his suspension.
“I think generally they believe I’m too small, but skills pay the bills. If Jake fights like he fought Mike, I believe I will knock him out in four or five rounds.”
Jake had not fought anyone with Ryan’s skills and youth during his short four-year professional career, and it would be a dangerous fight.
