Paris – Difficult players are once again calling to cut the season.
After abandoning the second round action in Roland-Garros, Casper Ruud AND Alex de minaur The two told about the severity of the tournament calendar and said it is impossible not to suffer mentally and physically during a never -ending “Miu race” season.
“I’m simply tired. I’m mentally tired. I’m burnt a little, if anything,” said Alex de Minaur after swallowing a two groups to love lead against Alexander Bublik.
Aussie says having two days for a season out of season for several years of running is a recipe for melting.
“The solution is simple: you cut the schedule, right?” De Minaur told reporters. “What is not normal is that for the last three, the last four years I’ve had two days off after Davis Cup, and I’ve gone directly to the pre-season season, directly in the new season again.”
De Minaur is always quick to join the Australian team Davis Cup, which means he is lying in Gills by the time the season ends finally.
“Once you start, you don’t end until November 24th, right?” He said. “So it’s just never over. This is its big fact. The solution is for you to cut it, because what will happen is that the player’s career will become shorter and shorter because they will simply burn mentally. There is only a lot of tires.”
Casper Ruud, who carried a knee injury in Paris, bowed to the second round to Nuno Borges in four groups. A non-characteristic loss for a boy who has two Roland-Garros finals in his CV.
“It’s a kind like a mouse race when it comes to ranking,” Ruud said. “You think you are obliged to play with certain rules that ATP has set with mandatory events. You feel like you lose a lot if you do not appear and play, as economically, wise, sorted and wise.” Ruud says stress is increased by some of the Byzantine rules that the tour uses to keep the players on the rodent wheel.
“If you don’t play a mandatory event, they reduced 25 percent of your year -end bonus,” he said. “You are the kind of obligation of players to appear damaged or sick, or whatever, when that is not what I think is very right.”
Norwegian is looking forward to taking a little rest time, to say at least.
“However it was possible, as I said. I was able to deal with pain. It wasn’t too bad. Some days are worse than others. I’m just looking forward not to be in some soothing for a few days now.”
