Casper Ruud Will pass Wimbledon this year.
“He has returned to court and things are going well, but it seems that playing the best of the five groups is unfortunately very soon. Gstaad will be another for Casper now,” Tina Falster NTB told Reuters.
Ruud joins Arthur Fils and Sebastian Korda among the big names that have already been withdrawn by the Grass Court Major.
The 16th ranking Norway is withdrawn due to a long knee injury. He spoke about the damage to Roland-Garros, after losing his second round to Nuno Borges.
‘I felt the first time in Monte-Carlo. So it’s been with me the whole season of clay, “he said at the time.” I will have some more time now to let it recover and rest for a long time. “It is not surprising that Ruud has chosen to pass Wimbledon.
“It’s a difficult life in many ways, and many days of travel, and just reached a point where I felt like it was getting too much,” he said about his decision to seek help in May.
