Mohamed Salah remains a key player for Liverpool and is currently in the form of his life, but will the 32-year-old showcase his talents at Anfield next season?
The winger is out of contract with the Merseyside club at the end of the season and while talks are taking place behind the scenes, there has been no official offer put on the table for the superstar, who was recently admitted by the captain of Egypt
Salah will turn 33 next summer and there seems to be hesitation from Liverpool to offer the ex-Chelsea star a big salary and rightly so as the veteran’s form could dip at any time.
There have been no signs of this of late, as Salah has started the 2024/25 campaign like a house on fire, having it earned him the praise of Arne Slot. The 32-year-old has scored 15 goals and provided 12 assists in 21 games, helping Liverpool climb to the top of the Premier League and Champions League tables.
This will attract many clubs to the red star ahead of the summer transfer window as getting a player of this quality for free could be a huge opportunity.
Barcelona and PSG have been two European giants linked to Salah in recent weeks; with Ligue 1 champions chairman Nasser Al-Khelaifi now commenting on those rumours.

PSG president comments on Liverpool star Mohamed Salah’s future
Al-Khelaifi was speaking at the Club World Cup draw on Thursday GIVEMESPORT on the rumors linking PSG with Salah.
“We love Mo Salah. But he has a contract with Liverpool and we have never spoken to him,” said the Ligue 1 president. “He is from our part of the world (MENA). I am very proud of what he has done in the Premier League. I have a lot of respect for him and for Liverpool.”
A contract offer is likely to arrive at Salah’s door from Liverpool early next year and his response will determine how this story unfolds in 2025.
