Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim has spoken to Sporting CP centre-back Ousmane Diomande in a bid to convince him to join the Red Devils over fellow suitors Manchester City, according to a report .
Amorim, who moved to Old Trafford during the international break in November, has already confirmed this publicly he will not try to sign any of his former players when January transfer the window is open, but he is expected to pursue meetings with a handful of All-Stars at the end of the season.
