Manchester United was struck by Brentford away from home at the Premier League before, and Ligt’s Matthijs has collected an injury.
The Red Devils lost the game 4-3 and Ruben Amorim’s decision to make too many changes to the side, no doubt, played a great role in loss.
MAN United handed a stroke to Ligt’s Matthijs

However, the defeat of Brentford is not the only concern for Manchester United and Amorim right now. Ligt’s Netherland Netherlands collected an injury during the game, and Manchester United manager has revealed that he is concerned about the situation.
Amorim told the BBC: “I don’t know, so I’m really worried, not on Thursday. We got Luke Shaw in the half to protect and have players on Thursday, but I’m more worried if this is a small or big injury and I think about the next season.”
Manchester United is still waiting to find out the extent of damage and it will be interesting to see if the defender is suitable for the next semifinals of UEFA Europa League. Manchester United will be desperate to win the tournament this time and the Dutch International could be a useful player for them.
They will not want to lose the player in this phase of the season. Manchester United has been quite defensively vulnerable, and a bump on the back could be expensive.
It will also be a disappointing blow to the player and it is left to see if he can return to the action quickly.
Can Man United again bounce?
In the meantime, it has been a disappointing season for Manchester United and they are 15th at the league table. For a club in their stature, this is simply unacceptable, and it will be interesting to see if they can bounce strongly next season.
