1-1 is a fair reflection of how both teams played – Rohit Sharma

Rohit also spoke about his team’s performance in the series and said that it was remarkable. He drew attention to the team’s fight in Perth and admitted that they did not play well in Adelaide.

He said the series being tied 1-1 after three matches was a fair reflection of how both teams played. He elaborated:

“Well done. The attitude the boys showed after getting 150 and then 100 Adelaide was lucky for us, we didn’t play well, Brisbane didn’t. After 3 Tests, 1-1 if I look at it, it’s a fair reflection of how both teams played.”

Rohit Sharma would be looking to lead from the front in the final two games of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25. The skipper was seriously pumped for his poor form as he managed just 19 runs in the two games he played. There have been many calls for his retirement as well and the striker will be looking to silence all his critics with the bat in the next two matches.
