Indian National Cricket Team captain Rohit Sharma was not happy with the fans who attended the team’s practice session along with big batsman Virat Kohli. According to RevSportz, both senior players expressed frustration with the fans’ demands.
The Indian National Cricket Team is fielding tough pitches ahead of the fourth match of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25. The Boxing Day game between the teams will be played at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in Melbourne on Thursday (December 26).
The Indian National Cricket Team is training hard in Melbourne
The Indian National Cricket Team has been training hard in Melbourne, awaiting a win in the fourth Test of the series. The main focus will be on the team’s two senior players, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli.
Rohit and Kohli are reportedly looking pretty solid in the nets. They ticked almost every box right and made sure they left no stone unturned in their preparations for the next match of the series which will be a virtual series decider.
Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli were unhappy with the fans shouting and demanding certain shots from them in the nets.
However, both the strong players of the Indian National Cricket Team also felt uneasy during the training session. This was because some fans were unhappy about coming to watch the nets at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in Melbourne.
Reports claimed that the fans were shouting and demanding certain shots from Rohit and Virat. This didn’t go down well with the team’s two senior players as they expressed their frustration over the same.

Team India closed the doors to fans after the first Test in Perth. This was because the fans abused some of the players who complained about the same and hence the Rohit Sharma-led side practiced behind closed doors but the fans were present at the MCG.
Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli have not fared well in Tests
As for the form of Rohit and Kohli, both the batsmen have not fared well in the longest format of the game. The Indian captain looked furious with the bat as he managed just 19 runs in the two games he played while batting in the middle order.
On the other hand, Virat Kohli started his Australia tour on a high as he hit a classy century in Perth. But after that he struggled to get going and managed just 26 runs in the next two games he played, bowled on the outside.
Both Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli will be looking to step up to the team in the final two games. If the Indian National Cricket Team fancies their chances of winning the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25, they would want both the big players to bring their A-game.
