Indian National Cricket Team captain Rohit Sharma along with Virat Kohli, Gautam Gambhir, Shubman Gill, KL Rahul and others arrived in Kanpur ahead of the second Test against Bangladesh National Cricket Team. The last game of the series will be held on September 27 at Green Park.
The Test series between India and Bangladesh began on September 19 at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.. Note that the hosts finished the game on Day 4 and then enjoyed a rest before regrouping in Kanpur on Tuesday (September 24)..
The ongoing Test match against Bangladesh will be a huge opportunity for Rohit Sharma and his team to get all their basics right heading into the crucial Test series ahead.. Although they won the first game, there were a few issues that needed to be addressed.
The form of some players will be important going forward and as Kanpur’s surface is expected to be good for batting, it will be a great opportunity for the batsmen to find their rhythm. Skipper Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, in particular, would love to get a few runs under their belts.
Both Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli did not have a great outing with the bat in the first test. The batsmen failed in both the innings and were looking to make an impact in the second Test. Their form would be crucial for the team going into the Test season.
Both Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli arrived in Kanpur three days before the second game. Shubman Gill, KL Rahul and assistant coach Abhishek Nayar were seen coming together while Kohli was seen arriving with Rishabh Pant and Gautam Gambhir.

Some reports claimed that the second Test between India and Bangladesh will be played black soiland the surface will offer very little bounce and carry and is also less likely to be graded. As the test ages, the bounce is expected to be lower and the surface slower and flatter
Reports also added that India may make changes to the 11 due to the nature of the pitch. They are likely to play three spinners and India have chances to bring one of Kuldeep Yadav and Axar Patel into the squad. Akash Deep is expected to miss the game.
The Indian National Cricket Team won the first Test of the series by a huge margin of 280 runs. There were several players who featured in the team with Ravichandran Ashwin. He scored a ton and picked 6 wickets for the team.
Shubman Gill (119*) and Rishabh Pant (109) also hit centuries which helped India set a huge target of 515 runs. They would like to continue the same form and help the team win and complete the whitewash.
