Rohit Sharma had a tough day with the bat as well as captain and fielder on Day 2 of the ongoing Test. Things looked tough for him as the Indian National Cricket Team had the worst possible performance with the bat, conceding just 46 runs and all in two sessions.

He stitched two 75 runs for the second wicket and put the hosts under pressure. Rachin Ravindra (22*) and Daryl Mitchell (14*) then stepped up and finished the day on a high for New Zealand. At stumps on the second day, the visitors were 180 for three and led by 134 runs.
