Swiss maestro will make the wires sing in Shanghai in October.
Former World Nr. 1 Roger Federer announced that he will play a double match of the exhibition at Rolex Shanghai Masters on October 10.
“Shanghai has always been a special place for me, with great fans, memorable memories and a real love for the game,“Said Federer in a video message posted on the tournament channels of the tournament.” I look forward to seeing you there on October 10.

Roger Federer match and Friends Celebrity Doubles will display actors Wu lei AND Donnie yenand the former Chinese Tenist Zheng jie. Federer exhibition doubles will be played Qizhong Stadium’s Center court.
The Grand Slam champion turned to Shanghai last fall, where he practiced with Carlos Alcaraz At a session where two of the best manufacturers interpret in the history of the open era.

An extremely popular presence in Asia, Federer is a twice champion in Shanghai.
In the 2017 final, the Swiss of the second seed played a ready-paced match by firing 10 anti-error Aces and allowing only eight points in the service in a 6-4, 6-3 win over Rafael Nadal’s high rival.

Federer captured his first title in Shanghai in 2014 French outside the Gilles Simon 7-6 (6), 7-6 (2) in a one-hour, 53-minute final. The third seed federator stopped Novak Djokovic 6-4 with high planting, 6-4 in the 2014 semifinals.

In an interview with tennis now in New York City during the US Open 2024, Federer said he had been hit and was looking forward to potentially playing some exhibitions.
Visiting masters at Augusta National in April, Federer repeated his desire to play several exhibitions.
“Honestly, I would like to play some tennis again. Enough with golf already for a moment now,” Roger said SNTV.
“I would start seriously playing 2 or 3 times a week again and I hope to go back to the exhibition court and I hope it will probably fill some nice stadiums all over the world.”
In two months, fans will see Federer again in court in Shanghai.
