Olympic 400 m silver medalist reveals he had an action last month at the age of 58
Last month, one legal legend Roger Black opened, which he had heart surgery because he was a child.
In 1996, Black won the gold medals of Europe and the 400-meter in the Olympic silver, Michael NS Johnson and the world in 1991 and 1997.
The 58-year-old child told Instagram. “Three weeks ago I had an open heart surgery to replace my aortic valve and restore my aortic root. My “non-competent” Bicretid Aorta valve was discovered when I was 11 years old, and in the last 47 years I have been a guardian at the Chief Hospital of the EU.
“In the last summer, during my annual inspection, it was clear that things were getting worse, despite me, without obvious symptoms. It was a shock, but I knew it deeply that this day would come, although my heart disease did not allow me to define and prevent my athletics career.
Black praised the hospital staff who treated him before he tried his wife. “Thank you the most thanks to my wife Jules, who was there when I was waking up 11 hours after surgery and restore for me every day. Every day there was small steps. Yesterday was a big condition when we walked on the top of the Holy Martha hill … our special place. “
