Recently, Parth Jindal confirmed that Rishabh Pant will be retained by Delhi Capitals (DC) ahead of the IPL 2025 mega auction. Jindal said that “Yes, we must keep it. We have very good players in our team. The rules have just come out, so decisions will be made after discussions with GMR and our director of cricket, Sourav Ganguly.”

Notably, Pant missed the 2023 IPL season due to a car accident, but he came back with a bang in IPL 2024, scoring over 440 runs for Delhi Capitals (DC). The 27-year-old has so far scored 3,284 runs in 111 matches at an average of 148.93 in the IPL.

The Indian wicketkeeper-batsman has one century and 18 half-centuries to his name in his IPL career. Under Pant’s captaincy, Delhi Capitals (DC) have 23 wins, 19 losses and one draw in the tournament.
