Rinku Singh had to leave the field after sustaining a knee injury during the third T20I between India and Bangladesh at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad.
The incident happened in the first part of Bangladesh’s first innings. On the first ball, Mayank Yadav dismissed Parvez Hossain Emo for a duck. In the second ball, Rinku Singh was injured while entering the field.
Mayank hit a long shot to Bangladesh captain Najmul Hossain Shanto and the latter edged the ball to the side. Rinku Singh then ran towards square leg to stop the ball but fell awkwardly on his knee as he attempted to slide.
He immediately looked in pain and looked confused before eventually deciding to leave the field. Commentator Murali Karthik confirmed that the batsman had left the field and was replaced by Tilak Varma.

Talking about the game, Team India beat Bangladesh by 133 runs to sweep the three-match series. Earlier in the series, India won the first game by seven wickets before winning the second game by 86 runs.
In the first innings, Team India scored 297/6, which is their highest T20I total. India got off to a poor start as Abhishek Sharma departed for just 4 runs. However, Sanju Samson and Suryakumar Yadav shared a 173-run stand for the second wicket to put India in the driving seat.
Samson scored his maiden T20I century with the bat for the hosts. After reaching 50 off 22 balls, the keeper-batsman completed his century off just 40 balls. He eventually scored 111 runs off 47 balls with the help of 11 fours and 8 sixes.
On the other hand, Suryakumar scored 75 runs off 35 balls with 8 fours and 5 sixes. the likes Hardik Pandya (47) and Riyan Parag (34) also scored important shots.
In reply, Bangladesh finished their innings at 164/7. Towhid Hridoy top-scored for the visitors, scoring an unbeaten 63 off 42 balls. Litton Das also played a fine knock of 42 runs. Ravi Bishnoi scored 3 wickets and Mayank 2 wickets for India.
