Rickie Fowler scored a ticket to a big Sunday champion but another great search is on the horizon

Rickie Fowler exploited most of his sponsor’s exclusion in the 2025 commemorative tournament.
Fresh in a strong week in Charles Schwab Challenge, Fowler sailed well Muirfield Village this week in Dublin, Ohio, going 69-73 on the weekends to end up in a tie for seventh place. Scottie Scheffler successfully defended his title with a four -shot win over Ben Griffin.
But with the Top-10 conclusion, Fowler scored his ticket to the 153rd open championship in Royal Portrush. The memorial tournament had an open championship place to give the non -excluded player that ended up. Fowler ended up in a tie with Brandt Singeker, who shot a last round 65, but Fowler won the country through his country in the official world golf ranking.

“Well, we’re going the right track,” Fowler said about his game on Sunday after winning the country. “This week may still have been much better, but the positive positive is going to portray. That’s what I loved on schedule. I had a great time when we were there last and had a good show too. So connecting my favorite golf.
Fowler will not have much time to enjoy his assured ticket to northern Ireland, though.
Since he is not excluded in 2025 US Open, Fowler will play in the 36 -holes Monday in Kinsale Golf and Fitness Club in Columbus, Ohio.
With a huge exception in his pocket, Fowler hopes to ride momentum from a positive week in Jack Nicklaus’s place and grab a place in Oakmont procedures in two weeks.
“Long day tomorrow,” Fowler said. “Hopefully, we have saved all the blows for tomorrow because nothing went inside or wanted to get in today, and that has been something that has been good since late.
