Richardson Hitchins haunted his June 14 match against George Kambosos Jr.Almost sold out‘For the theater in Madison Square Garden in New York. The venue sits on 5.600 fans, so it’s not surprising that it’s almost outside. Fans on social media attribute ticket sales to Kambosos Jr.’s popularity, not Hitchins.
Andy Cruz: Real Ticket Mover?
Some fans believe that the real reason why tickets sell is the interest in lightweight contender Andy cruz is added to the map to an IBF title Eliminator against Hironori Mishiro. The 2020 Olympic gold medalist Cruz (5-0, 2 COs) is considered the best talent on the entire card and should be the chief fighter.
Andy Cruz is considered as The heir apparently To take over as the king of the lightweight section now that Gevonta Davis is talking to pension. Even if he wasn’t, Cruz is still considered the man to follow him up.
Hitchins (19-0, 7 food) probably chose the worst contenders in the IBF’s Top 15 at 140 to make his first defense. He could have chosen one of these murderers instead of the struggling ‘Emperor’ Kambosos:
– Kailaine Ortiz
– Elvis Rodriguez
– Subriel Matias
– Kenneth Sims
Hitchins’ choice of Kambosos (22-3, 10 COs) suggests that he want to milk his IBF title for as long as possible to ensure that he does not lose the band immediately. Richardson’s fighting style is a combination of Devin Haney and Shakur Stevenson. He is a mixture of the two, and it is not meant to be a compliment.
Haney 2.0 for Hearn
Fans have thrown some of Hitchins’ recent battles because he is moving and holding too much. In addition, he does not have the killer instinct. When Hearn’s contract with Haney ended in 2024, Hitchins was the perfect substitute. It’s as if Devin is never gone.
My struggle was almost sold out and we got another month to the first main meeting ever in NYC proud of myself MSG June 14 film
