After 15 months away from the tournament no.2 and twice Wimbledon Champion Petra Kvitova is ready to come back.
The 34-year-old, who gave birth to her son Petr in July 2024, will later play this month in Austin before competing in Indian Wells and Miami in March.
“After 15 months old beyond tennis and having my little son, I’m going back to the tennis circuit,” Kvitova said. “I really miss tennis and I miss the competition. I am really looking forward to returning – I’m planning to play the end of this month, a tour in Austin, then Indian Wells and Miami. I can’t wait I see all my fans all over the world.

The WTA title holder 31 times played for the last time in October 2023-It was ranked at 14 at the time.
