You know what is today, right? Of course he does.
Day is the biggest day to open up the final qualification, which some people also like to call the “longest golf day”, though you may call what you like.
On Monday, hundreds of players on 10 different sites (nine in the SH.BA and one in Canada) will play 36 holes in their respective US Open Pages to see who is still standing and can score a ticket to the US Open 2025 later this month at the Oakmont Country Club.
This process all started in April, when 110 sites received a local qualifying in the US, Canada and Mexico. Those who advance now will join the players already excluded in the final qualification (which has already ended in some places).
Thirty -six holes wait, and some big names (Max Homa, Rickie FowlerZach Johnson, Webb Simpson, Luke Clanton, etc.) are among those looking for spots in Oakmont, where US Open begins June 12-15.
Golf Channel will provide 10 hours of coverage on Monday, with a broadcast operating from 12-2 pm and later from 4pm to midnight.
