Journalist Dean Jones believes the Hammers made a mistake by appointing Julen Lopetegui in the first place.
In the summer, long-time manager David Moyes was replaced at the London Stadium by the former Real Madrid manager, who has yet to win over the West Ham fans.
Jones has said he believes it would be a “waste of time” to continue working with the new boss and that he should be fired as soon as possible.

“So there are other layers here that could affect the situation, but there’s also emotion, which will affect how this goes, and we’ll see if (the West Ham board) are on the right side of those feelings once we get out of this break
“Honestly, I would probably fire him (Lopetegui). I think they were wrong. I don’t think this is the right man for them. I think it’s a waste of time. I would fire him.” – finished Jones for GiveMeSport.
