Marcus Rashford is almost certain to leave Manchester United, and if Borussia Dortmund land him, that could have a knock-on effect at Aston Villa.

This is because Aston Villa have agreed personal terms with the 25-year-old Dutch winger, Donyell Malenand we are already in talks Bundesliga giants, Borussia Dortmund.

Sources with knowledge of the current situation have told CaughtOffside that Malen is very close to Villa as he wants to play for Premier Leaguebut any deal seems likely to depend on whether they land Man United ace, Marcus Rashford.

Multiple approaches are expected for Rashfordbut Newcastle and Arsenal are expected to be priced out of a movement for him.

Dortmund are demanding between €25m and €30m for Malen and Villa are willing to pay that figure, although sources understand they have also been linked with Arsenal, Juventus, Atletico Madrid and Crystal Palace.

Dortmund are also understood to want to sign Rashford on loan this month, but will not be in a position to enter into negotiations of any kind until they are sure Malen can move.

Man United will surely let Marcus Rashford leave

Talks between the Red Devils and the German club will take place over the next few days as, although Rashford’s representatives are in Italy and currently in talks with AC Milan, the player wants to hear all offers before taking a decision

Galatasaray and Juventus are also understood to be tracking the United striker who has fallen out of favor under Ruben Amorim.

With just a few weeks to go until the transfer window closes, there is still plenty of time to get a deal done, despite Rashford’s £300,000-a-week wages (capology) could be the only thing obstructing any transfer, loan or otherwise.
